For all who have children, work with children, care for children

Skaneateles School District and Superintendent Phil DʼAngelo to provide an informational evening of critical importance. With all the newspaper articles and television news reports on the serious affects of Cyberbullying in our schools, in our homes, on the streets and everywhere, we knew it was time to become involved for the safety of our children. With Mr. DʼAngeloʼs guidance The Skaneateles Ecumenical Clergy Association has enlisted the help of the Syracuse Regional Office of the F.B.I. to assist us in teaching about this prevalent and invasive form of bullying.

Once a month, volunteers from St. James' church meet at the Sts. Peter and John church soup kitchen in Auburn. Our volunteers choose to be there during one of two shifts, either 9:30am-11:30am or 11:30am-1:30pm. Some hearty souls stay throughout both shifts.

It's a very rewarding experience and takes but a couple hours once a month. View photos of our most recent soup kitchen in our Flickr gallery. Contact Corinne Buterbaugh if you would like to volunteer your time for this most worthwhile effort.
