About Us

St. James' Episcopal Church is a dynamic, growing community of deep faith. We celebrate the expanding dimensions of who we are as the community of St. James'. We are young and old, new Christians and lifetime octogenarian Episcopalians, conservative and liberal, from here and from far away, from traditional lifestyles and from families that reflect the realities of the 21st century.

While our lifestyle and life cycle may vary, we share a deep love for the Lord and sense of community at St. James. We welcome all people to seek, celebrate, and serve with us. Our motto is, "Wherever you have been on your journey of faith, there is a place for you here."

Our mission at St. James' is to ignite a life-changing passion for Jesus Christ. This simple phrase represents what lies at the heart of our community. Ultimately, everything we do is about igniting a passion for Jesus Christ: a passion that creates hope, instills courage, motivates bold gospel proclaiming decisions, fosters mutual care, and directs our 10 ministry areas.

We are a church in transition with a lot of positive energy, support and excitement about our future. We are passionate about our faith and we are willing to share it with those in our community and beyond. We have seven different worship services each week, ranging from Morning Prayer and a contemplative healing service, to a Rite II service with a choir to a contemporary Eucharistic celebration with a full band.
